Tour Plan
Day 1 – Arrival and Orientation
Upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, students are transferred to their hotel. Orientation introduces them to China’s technological advancements, cultural heritage, and historical significance. An evening walk along Wangfujing Street helps students observe the contrast between traditional architecture and modern urban life, offering a first glimpse into China’s dynamic city environments.
Day 2 – Technology & Innovation
Students start with a visit to Zhongguancun Science Park, China’s technology hub, where they witness cutting-edge developments in AI, robotics, and tech startups. Interactive demonstrations allow students to see how innovation directly impacts society. In the afternoon, a guided tour of Tsinghua University or Beijing Institute of Technology innovation labs gives students exposure to engineering projects and entrepreneurial ideas, fostering inspiration and hands-on learning. Evening discussions focus on connecting STEM knowledge with global innovation trends.
Day 3 – Historical & Cultural Immersion
The day begins with a visit to the Great Wall of China, where students explore one of the world’s most impressive engineering achievements, learning about construction techniques, historical strategy, and environmental geography. The tour continues to the Forbidden City, giving students insight into urban planning, architecture, and imperial culture. A stop at the Temple of Heaven introduces students to ancient astronomy, religious practices, and cultural history, creating a richly immersive learning experience.
Day 4 – Modern STEM & Adventure
Students visit the Beijing Science and Technology Museum, exploring robotics, space science, and renewable energy exhibits through interactive experiences. In the afternoon, the group enjoys Olympic Park activities, including outdoor team-building exercises, reflecting on China’s urban planning and sustainable infrastructure. The day balances academic learning with adventure, reinforcing teamwork, creativity, and leadership.
Day 5 – Shanghai Technology & Cultural Exploration
Morning flight to Shanghai introduces students to the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, where they learn about smart cities, sustainable urban development, and modern infrastructure. In the afternoon, students explore the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, engaging with hands-on exhibits in robotics, energy, and space exploration. Evening highlights a Huangpu River Cruise, offering panoramic views of the skyline, modern bridges, and urban planning innovations, concluding the day with reflection on technological and cultural insights.
Day 6 – Reflection and Departure
Students spend the morning in structured reflection sessions, consolidating their understanding of technology, history, and culture. After breakfast, the group transfers to Shanghai Pudong International Airport for departure. Students leave with a student-centered understanding of innovation, cultural heritage, and global perspectives.
